I’m sure you all figured this out before me, I’m so far behind in the techie world, but I’ve just discovered a shortcut to reading my favorite Blogs: Google Reader.
I thought I was being smart by adding the blogs I regularly read to my “Favorites” list, but that does get tiring, clicking on them one at a time, several times a day (I confess!), just to see if anyone has written a new post recently.
Today I actually paid attention to a writer who'd mentioned adding a friends’ blog to Google Reader. I checked it out, and what a timesaver! I can log in to one page and see immediately who has written a new post that day…okay, that hour. I know there’s much more you can do with the Reader, but this is enough for me! Happy day!
One of my new favorite blogs is The Parent Bloggers Network, which hosts contests each Friday. This week they want to hear about successful shortcuts you’ve taken. Two lucky writers will win a $250 VISA gift card, courtesy of Ore-Ida!
