It's That Time of Year Again...

Time to start thinking about Christmas gifts.  And, in my case, an anniversary gift for my husband (We'll be married for 3 years this December!).  I'm always trying to come up with something unique to give that doesn't cost a lot of money, but holds a lot of meaning.  I have a few ideas for this year, but obviously can't publish them here (at least not until after we celebrate)!  Things I've done in the past:

Last year I was pregnant on our anniversary.  We conceived in Italy (How romantic!), so I took one of our ultrasound pictures into Publisher, added the text "Made in Italy," and printed it out on an iron-on-transfer sheet that I bought at Office Max.  Then, I ironed it on to a plain white onesie from Old Navy.  I also made 2 other onesies titled "Mom + Dad = Me" and vice versa.  Too cute!

The year before, I printed out "50 Reasons Why I'm in Love With You" on a piece of 8-1/2x11 paper and framed it.  It still sits on our dresser, and my husband bragged about it recently to some strangers at a dinner party!  I also found a small children's board book called "How Do I Love You?" that's intended to be from a parent to a kid, but the sentiments were sweet and fit the things I love about my husband, so I gave that to him as well.

On our first Valentine's Day, I made a coupon book good for things like homemade brownies, movie night on the couch, dibs on the remote control, etc...

So this year I'm thinking along the lines of scrapbooks, photos, a collection of romantic cards I've saved, and...well, I'll have to tell you later!
