Seein' Green

I'm not the best at recycling, but I have done quite a bit of re-using lately!  For years, I have stored some of my childhood toys in plastic bins as keepsakes.  Now that I have a daughter, they are coming into the light again!  So far, we've got the Fisher Price bucket of plastic shapes (she's supposed to put them in the appropriate holes, but would rather put them in her mouth!), my Cornsilk Cabbage Patch doll (whose hair holds a special fascination for my little girl), and the little plastic record player that plays little plastic records (not real LPs)...which also go in the mouth!

It is fun to see her playing with my old toys, even if they are currently being used for teething.  When she's a little older, I'll pull out the My Little Ponies and all their clothes, the two dollhouses and their families, and the Mandie and Jenny dolls with their entire wardrobes.

I confess, being a bit of a packrat has its "green" rewards!
